GCSE MUSIC

Revision & Performance Practice

Current GCSE syllabuses in England require candidates to pass modules encompassing performance skills, composition, and written papers dealing with the history and analysis of music. Often there are significant components requiring the development of listening and aural capabilities. It can be difficult for the GCSE student with a full school timetable to ensure the adequate development of these skills solely through in-school music lessons. In some cases pupils can find it useful to receive extra tuition in these areas.
Jessica provides revision and/or tutoring sessions for the current Edexcel Music GCSE syllabus. Lessons designed specifically to prepare pupils for the practical assessment components of the course are also available, in any instrument.
